People of PROtect Winner: Amy Chambers

Meet Amy Chambers, Director of Support Services, based in Wichita, KS. Her responsibilities encompass contributing to the design and evolution of PROtect applications, facilitating training, and overseeing the management of IT service provider relationships.

She is also the recipient of the 2022 Q4 People of PROtect PROGRESS Award. The recipient of this award is a team member who regularly makes progress that results in influential leadership, personal growth, company growth, improved processes, innovation, and/or profitability.

What are 3 words you’d use to describe PROtect?

  • Dynamic, Innovative, Persevering

What is your favorite thing about being on the PROtect team?

  • The people are the greatest and no two days are alike!! Everyone takes pride in what they do, are kind and courteous (I don’t think I have ever been called “ma’am” so many times), and truly enjoy their work.

What would you do for a career if you weren’t doing this?

  • Professional Karaoke “singer” — Is that a career?

What kind of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?

  • Reading, Games (board not video), hiking, any water sports, and lots of time with family

What is your favorite book or movie quote?

  • “Hard to pick one… “Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?” — Rush Hour

What is one thing on the very top of your bucket list?

  • Ireland — Pubs, Churches, and Countryside

What is the first concert you attended?

  • Huey Lewis and the News

If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

  • Pizza

Which fictional character would you most like to switch lives with? Why?

  • Energizer Bunny… it keeps going, and going, and going…

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would buy?

  • I would set up an Autism Foundation and then buy homes all over the country to share with family and friends
