People of PROtect Winner: Terrance Pickett

Meet Terrance Pickett, Operations Manager, who divides his time between our Houston, TX and St. Louis, MO offices. He leads new office setups, handling everything from technician hiring with operations and HR support to research and development of innovative RT methods. He’s also instrumental in driving business expansion across our network.

He is the recipient of the 2023 Q4 People of PROtect PRODUCE Award. The recipient of this award is a team member who regularly produces excellent results for our customers or inspires colleagues to produce excellent results by creating an enjoyable, safe, professional, and inspiring culture.

  • The atmosphere

What would you do for a career if you weren’t doing this?

  • Project Management or TA Manager

What kind of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?

  • Cooking on my Pitt Boss pellet smoker and hanging with my dogs and spoiling them

What is your favorite book or movie quote?

  • “Great men are not born great, they grow great” and “It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward!!!”

What is one thing on the very top of your bucket list?

  • Take a Cruise

  • Wayne Toups (Cajun)

If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

  • Steak, rice, and gravy

Which fictional character would you most like to switch lives with? Why?

  • Captain America because he never quits and keeps moving ahead while still helping people along the way

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would buy?

  • I would first help the people who have always helped me in time of need and then I would by an RV and travel
