Meet Jason Friedberg, COO and newly appointed President, based in our corporate Wichita, KS office. Jason consistently executes the company’s vision and strategy, leading his coworkers with determination to achieve success for PROtect. Jason believes in empowering employees by providing them with support and guidance. He considers it his role “to identify people smarter than me, get them what they need to do their job, and then get out of their way” so everyone can reach maximum potential! His commitment to driving collaboration amongst team members makes him an invaluable asset not only for this business but its community as well – making him one who leads by example instead of words alone!

What is your favorite thing about being on the PROtect team?
- I love our team. I’ve met a lot of our team over the last two years and look forward to meeting, working with, and getting to know many more in the coming years.
What would you do for a career if you weren’t doing this?

Coaching youth sports
What kind of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?

I used to have time for hobbies, but I pretty much only have time for whatever my kid’s hobbies are these days (which is perfect!)
What is your favorite book or movie quote?
- I’m a huge sports fan. I’ve read countless books from great coaches. The greatest coach, who inspired more people during his life and after is John Wooden. In his book, They Call Me Coach, he wrote, “Success is never final, failure is never fatal, it is courage that counts.”
If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
- Chicken fried steak!
Which cartoon character would you most like to switch lives with? Why?

Yogi Bear – he was smarter than the average bear and always seemed like he was having fun!
