People of PROtect: Mitch Rademacher
Get to know Mitch Rademacher, our Vice President of Pipeline Integrity and NDT Operational Support:
What is your background/experience Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)?
I got my associate’s degree in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) at South East Community College. From there I went to a college in Houston and did underwater welding and worked offshore for a bit. I started doing NDT in Kansas City in 2001, and have been doing NDT ever since.
What do you think is the most important part of what PROtect does?
As the name says – protect the assets of our customers. We do that by performing inspections on things that could be detrimental to the environment and people’s health.
Why do you think people choose to work with PROtect?
The way we treat people – we believe in treating others how we would want to be treated. No one is just a number to us.
What do you do you enjoy doing when you are not at work?
I like to golf, fish, and camp. I have three little kids, so lately I have been chasing them around.
What did you want to be growing up?
A professional golfer – but I was never good enough for it!
Who is your favorite sports team?
I love the Kansas City Chiefs and Nebraska Corn Huskers. For Baseball – the Kansas City Royals.
How Can We Help?
Safety, reliability, and compliance obligations can be the difference between a sustainable and profitable business and one that is not.
